It's a "when" not an "if"
Thanks for all of your concern on this thread... it's much appreciated I'm still alive though. See the thread on General Discussion...

When I try to run it, I cant see my scene
http://img143.imageshack.us/img143/1034/80638856cy5.jpg
The scen was modeleed and exported in Wings 3D. Would that possibly be an issue? Does the OBJ need to have light sources or does radium handle that?
Can someone post a pic of what its supposed to look like?
Is there a getting started tutorial in the works? |

Ah I see what's going on... there's obviously a problem initialising the split panes.... if you drag the middle split pane down you'll see your scene preview (it's there at the moment just extremely small).
After a .obj import you will have to setup lightsources. Just drag a pre-defined emitter material from the material library (see top-left pane, bottom tree) onto the top tree, then drag that onto the shape in the scene preview.

| That pane issue I'd reported before - doesn't seem to bother anything, just pull the middle pane downward. |

Ok, thanks, it works now.
Im a little confused as to how to assign materials from the library to my objects..
EDIT : Where is the renderered image shown in progress? Im on vista 64 bit and when I click render, the cursor pops up and not much happens. |

Hi ne0,
To convert a material template into a real material, just drag it from the bottom tree to the top tree. It should then appear in the list of materials and you can tweak it as required.
It's possible your render showed nothing because you've not yet assigned an emitting material to anything (?)
